Does Lumo send emails or messages on its own?
Not by default. Lumo drafts and ranks; you send. Every Feed card waits for you, and every Chat change shows a review card first. An admin can turn on Automatic sending under Settings, Workspace, Lumo. It is off by default.
What data does Lumo read?
Your workspace's CRM records: contacts, companies, deals, activities, tasks, plus connected calendar, email, and LinkedIn activity. It also reads the Routine attached to a list, which is what tells it who matters and how you want them engaged. It reads only your own workspace.
Why is my Feed empty?
Lumo only drafts for contacts on a list that has an active Routine attached. An empty Feed almost always means no list has one yet. Attach a Routine under Lists, Routines, and cards start arriving as the work comes up.
What is the difference between Lumo and a Routine?
A Routine is the plan: which contacts a list covers and how you want them engaged. Lumo is the thing that reads that plan alongside your CRM data and produces the individual drafts and rankings. A Routine guides Lumo for its lists. Lumo can still use CRM records and produce untracked suggestions without a Routine. Routines were previously called Codex, which is why some older links use that word.
How do I reach Lumo outside the app?
Four ways in, all reading the same workspace: the app itself, a connector in Claude, OpenClaw for tools running on your own machine, and the API for your own code. They share one permission model and one set of tools, so what you can do in Chat is what you can do from Claude.
What uses up Lumo credits?
Generation does: Feed drafts, Chat replies, Routine pitch suggestions and review, enrichment, and list auto-classification. Reading the app does not. All of it comes from the workspace's one shared pool. Workspace usage and each member's share sit under Settings, Workspace, Lumo, Usage.
