What URL do I paste into Claude or ChatGPT?
https://lumenbase.io/api/mcp. In Claude it is the Remote MCP server URL in Add custom connector (Customize, Connectors, plus). In ChatGPT it is the Server URL in the New plugin dialog, with Authentication set to OAuth. Name it Lumenbase; the app then sends you to Lumenbase to sign in.
How do I connect Lumenbase to ChatGPT?
On the web, enable custom MCP access for your plan and workspace role. Open Plugins, plus, Add custom MCP server (some accounts use Apps, Create). Name it Lumenbase, paste https://lumenbase.io/api/mcp, pick OAuth and complete creation and sign-in. Install if prompted, then select Lumenbase with @ in a new chat. Developer mode, write access and publication depend on your ChatGPT plan and administrator settings.
Do I need an API key or token for this?
No. You approve access by signing in on Lumenbase in your browser. Nothing is stored on your machine.
What can Claude or ChatGPT actually do once connected?
Both use the same MCP catalog to read and change CRM records, work with knowledge, projects and campaigns, and send messages where permitted. Your role, OAuth scopes and Lumo capability settings narrow it. Lumo page-building, native transcript, subject-memory and relationship-intelligence readers are not exposed over MCP.
Can the app see data I cannot?
No. The connector acts as you. It respects the same workspace boundary and the same data-access rules that apply to your own account in the app and in Lumo.
Is this the same as OpenClaw?
They reach the same tools by different routes. This guide covers Claude and ChatGPT, where you connect by signing in. OpenClaw is for agents that run on your own machine and use a personal token. Prefer this one where your app supports it.
