What Are Contacts?
Contacts are person-level records in Lumenbase. They represent the people you communicate with, sell to, support, and collaborate with across your pipeline.
Link each contact to a company, deals, tasks, and timeline activities. Clean contact records improve your targeting, sharpen follow-ups, and help you cover more stakeholders per account.
Core Contact Fields
| Field | Why it matters | Best practice |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Identity and searchability | Use legal/preferred full name |
| Primary communication channel | Keep unique, avoid duplicates | |
| Role/Title | Decision context | Update when role changes |
| Company link | Relationship context | Always link to the correct company |
| Owner | Accountability | Assign clear ownership for follow-ups |
