Workspace setup splits what you configure (team, billing, fields, integrations) from where each setting lives in Settings and System Operations.
What you configure
- Team access: invites, roles, mandatory 2FA policy
- Billing: plans, seats, payment methods
- CRM structure: custom fields, pipelines, funnel stages, dropdown options
- Integrations: Slack, Apollo, email, API keys, and other workspace connections
- Appearance: workspace theme
- Lumo: AI gates, credits, LinkedIn monitoring toggles
- Personal profile: name, avatar, timezone, mailbox OAuth, notification preferences
Where to configure it
Company Settings
Admins open Settings → Company Settings. Tabs are permission-gated. If you do not see a tab, your role does not include that area.
- User Management: invites, roles, deactivate users
- Billing: plans, payment, subscription invoices
- Integrations: workspace-level connections (Slack, Apollo, API keys, etc.)
- Configuration: custom fields, pipelines, dropdown options, two-factor policy
- Custom Theme: workspace color theme
- Lumo: AI features, credits, LinkedIn monitoring toggles
My Settings (personal)
Each user manages their own profile and personal connections.
- Profile: name, avatar, timezone, personal 2FA (Authentication)
- Integrations: Gmail or Outlook OAuth for your mailbox
- Notifications: personal alert preferences
System Operations
- Data Hub: import, export, recovery, import history
- Automations: workflow builder
- Security Center: exports, integrations, security events (admins)
Suggested setup order
- Confirm plan and seats
- Invite the team
- Configure fields and pipelines under
Company Settings → Configuration - Connect integrations. See the email guide and integration articles
- Link Codex to lists and turn on Lumo features in Lumo settings & credits
