Which email providers can I connect?
Gmail, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 work or school accounts. Personal Microsoft accounts such as Outlook.com or Hotmail cannot connect. Custom Email (SMTP) can send mail through your own server, but it does not bring email in.
How far back does the first email import go?
The last 30 days. For Gmail you can change it to 7, 60 or 90 days under Sync emails from. For Outlook it is the 30 days before you connected, and the first import reads at most the 2,000 newest messages.
How often does new email sync?
About every 10 minutes for both Gmail and Outlook, even when Lumenbase is closed. Press Sync now on the provider's settings page to fetch it at once.
Who can see my synced email?
Only you, by default. Each channel has a Default privacy that starts as Private. Shared with some lets in the people, teams or roles you name, and admins are not included. Shared opens it to everyone who can use that feature.
Why is an email missing from a contact's timeline?
It links only when one of the contact's saved addresses is the sender, or a To address on mail you sent. Outlook also checks Cc. Email that synced before the contact existed stays unlinked.
What happens when I disconnect?
Syncing stops. Email and meetings that already synced stay in Lumenbase.
