    Migrating from Salesforce

    Migration Guide

Move Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities via CSV export and Data Hub import.

    Overview

There is no native Salesforce sync migration in Lumenbase yet. Teams typically use Salesforce Data Export or Report exports (CSV), then import through Data Hub with field mapping and duplicate rules.

    1. Export Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities (and Activities if needed) from Salesforce.
    2. Normalize files: one primary entity per import job in Data Hub.
    3. Import companies first, then contacts (with company link column), then deals.
    4. Map Opportunity Stage to your Lumenbase deal pipeline stages in Company Settings before import.
    5. Review Import History for errors; use duplicate merge tools after large contact imports.
Salesforce IDs are useful in a custom field during migration so you can reconcile rows in spreadsheets before cutover.
