Frequently asked questions
Where do I find a meeting brief in Lumenbase?
Open the meeting from Agenda, then Calendar. The event sheet shows a Brief panel with what Lumo already knows about the people on the invite, and the last message each way. It needs at least one guest who matches a contact or company, and it disappears 12 hours after the meeting ends.
Does Lumenbase send a bot into my calls?
No. The browser extension records Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom from your own browser, and the phone records meetings in a room. Nothing joins the call as a participant.
How do people in the call know they are being recorded?
The extension can post a notice in the meeting chat. With the default Chat notice setting it asks you first on a manual start. Auto-record always posts it. The phone recorder has no chat, so tell the people in the room yourself.
Are tasks created automatically from a meeting?
Yes, for plain tasks owned by a teammate. They become to-dos for that teammate, linked to the meeting's contact, company and deal. Other action items, such as CRM updates and messages, wait for you to click their button.
Can a meeting change my CRM data on its own?
No. Suggested changes wait in Review CRM changes, which shows the current value next to the one from the meeting, and new records filled in from the invite. Nothing is saved until you apply it.
What does recording a meeting cost?
About 1.6 Lumo credits a minute for the transcript, plus the summary and speaker matching. A typical meeting comes to about 40 credits, taken from the seat of whoever recorded. The brief is free.
