How these features fit together
Lumenbase combines three LinkedIn-related surfaces: LinkedIn Monitor for prioritized social activity from people you care about, My Connections for your full synced network, and Added Profiles for people captured through the extension who are not in your LinkedIn network. All of them rely on the browser extension and, for most workspaces, the LinkedIn Sync entitlement.
LinkedIn Monitor
LinkedIn Monitor shows a time-ordered feed of LinkedIn activity tied to contacts on lists whose Codex has LinkedIn activity monitoring enabled. It helps you react to posts and comments without manually checking every profile.
Where to open it
- Full page:
Labs → LinkedIn Monitor(/labs/linkedin-monitor) - Dashboard: add the LinkedIn Monitor module to your analytics dashboard for a compact view with a link to the full page.
Enable signals
Monitoring is scoped to contacts on lists linked to that Codex. Turn on Activity monitoring in Codex → Settings → LinkedIn (the switch is what enables syncing); keep those lists to a smaller set of people when you need fast, reliable polling. See Codex for how this ties to playbook structure and the workspace monitored-contact budget.
- Install and sign in to the Lumenbase extension (Chrome or Brave).
- Open Lists → Codexes and pick the Codex used by lists you want to monitor.
- In Codex settings, enable LinkedIn activity monitoring for that Codex.
- Return to LinkedIn Monitor: the page shows whether the extension is connected.
Replying from Monitor
Activity cards can surface reply actions. Drafts are meant to be reviewed and pasted into LinkedIn; the same interaction patterns apply in the Feed when LinkedIn comment or message opportunities appear.
My Connections (Private Connections)
Directory → My Connections lists people in your LinkedIn network that the extension has synced into Lumenbase. You can search, see when you connected, and link rows to CRM contacts. This is your full network view, including people not on active lists.
Path: /directory/private-connections
- Requires LinkedIn Sync on your plan (upgrade messaging appears if the feature is not included).
- If sync is disabled in settings, connections will not update until you turn sync back on.
- You can stop syncing a single connection from the row menu without deleting the CRM contact.
Added Profiles (subscribed profiles)
Directory → Added Profiles shows LinkedIn profiles you added through the extension when those people are not part of your LinkedIn network. Use it to manage prospects you captured before a connection request was accepted.
Path: /directory/subscribed-profiles
LinkedIn comments and DMs in the Feed
In the Feed, when a recommendation is about LinkedIn outreach, you may see comment or direct message drafts. Open the suggestion dialog to review text, copy it, and complete the send on LinkedIn. Lumenbase does not post to LinkedIn on your behalf without that step.
After you address a LinkedIn communication recommendation, the Feed may hide that contact for a while so the stream stays focused on what still needs attention.
For channel setup and message sync into the CRM timeline, keep Integrating with LinkedIn open in another tab while you configure the extension.
