The crossover. Bitrix24 at $99 a month costs the same as the median per-seat CRM here (about $42 a seat) at 3 licences. The per-seat model costs less below that point. The flat plan costs less above it. Count the people who need access before comparing features.

Per seat or flat: the decision that dominates the bill

Licence count drives the bill for a provider with a large delivery team. Per-seat prices rise with each user. Flat plans stay level until their user allowance runs out. The chart above shows both models so you can see where their costs cross.

    • Count CRM users. Sellers and account managers usually need a full seat. Delivery leads may need read access. Most engineers need none. Use that licence count in the comparison.
    • Find the crossover. 2 of the CRMs here use flat pricing, starting around $99 a month regardless of how many people log in. Compare that amount with the per-seat total at the licence count you expect next year.
    • Read the user allowance. Flat pricing applies only within the plan's user allowance. Check the next tier as well, since some plans make a large jump at the limit.
    • Check multi-currency early. Only 7 of the CRMs in the full dataset list multi-currency at all, and 5 of those put it behind an upgrade. If you quote and bill in different currencies, this narrows the field before any other feature does.

    Where the price hides

Large teams, cross-border billing, and client security rules create four common pricing problems for outsourcing providers.

    • Per-seat pricing against a large delivery team. A provider with thirty sellers and three hundred engineers may need far fewer than 330 CRM seats. Count full users, occasional users, and viewers before comparing per-seat and flat plans.
    • Currency conversion on the invoice, not the quote. A plan priced in one currency and billed in another moves with the exchange rate. Ask which currency appears on the invoice and whether the vendor uses separate local pricing.
    • Security requirements you inherit from clients. Single sign-on and audit logs often require a top tier. Use that plan in the comparison when an enterprise client requires either control.
    • The seat ceiling on cheap flat plans. Flat plans still have user allowances. Check the limit, the access types it covers, and the price of the next tier before comparing it with per-seat plans.

What you have to upgrade for

    • SSO / SAML. Every one of the 6 that offer it puts it behind an upgrade. The cheapest way in is $152 a month at 8 seats.
    • Territories and quotas. Every one of the 5 that offer it puts it behind an upgrade. The cheapest way in is $200 a month at 8 seats.
    • Audit logs. Every one of the 8 that offer it puts it behind an upgrade. The cheapest way in is $399 a month at 8 seats.
    • Sandbox. 6 of 7 that offer it charge more for it. The cheapest way in is $194 a month at 8 seats.
    • Custom objects. 5 of 6 that offer it charge more for it. The cheapest way in is $56 a month at 8 seats.

    Where Lumenbase fits

Lumenbase is our product. It is built around the sales and account work of software engineering providers. These are the clearest points of fit in this comparison.

    • One account record covers the relationship from first introduction through renewal and expansion.
    • Email, meeting, and LinkedIn capture keeps context attached to long, multi-stakeholder deals.
    • Account health signals show when a client relationship has gone quiet before renewal.
    • CRM, delivery, invoicing, and AI tools sit in one plan, which keeps plan comparisons clearer as the team grows.

Bitrix24 can suit hundreds of occasional users under a flat fee. Salesforce and Dynamics cover complex enterprise RFPs and deeper configuration. Twenty supports self-hosting when a client contract rules out a hosted CRM. A PSA fits teams whose main need is resourcing, utilization, and project margin. See the software engineering companies page, deal stages for software firms, or Lumenbase pricing.

    How we compared

Prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, on whichever basis the table is set to: annual-billed or month-to-month. A basis is never calculated from the other, so a vendor publishing only one shows a dash on the other rather than an estimate. The 8-seat column always uses the cheapest plan in a vendor's professional band, and a vendor with no published price for that plan is left blank instead of being quoted from a cheaper tier. This page lists 18 CRMs, 15 of them priced on the default basis. Pricing was refreshed 26 August 2026. See the CRM feature comparison for the full method, capability data, and treatment of flat and quote-only plans.
